Hello, Kimberly Capiña.

Grace, Kayla and I met our niece, Kimberly last weekend. She slept most of the time, but managed to wake up for a few of these photos. Definitely a cutie!

Photoshoot: Cel & Morgan

I don't get a lot of volunteers for models to take pictures of, but fortunately our good friends, Cel and Morgan, stepped up to the plate. These are some of our photos from our trip to Mexico a few months ago in April.

Engagement photoshoot: Bryan & Jayd

I've gotten to know Bryan and Jayd well these past couple of years. When they asked me to do their engagement photos and their wedding (coming soon), I was so honoured and jumped at the opportunity.

They originally considered their wedding to be held in Minoru Chapel, as their parents both had their weddings in that chapel. Unfortunately, they were not able to book the chapel but we decided that this would be a great place for engagement photos as sort of an "homage" to their parents.

We also managed to capture their fun side on that day. Here is the Bryan and Jayd I know.

Welcome to iMeGe's!!!

Thank you for visiting my blog!

I guess you could call this the culmination of a labour of love that started when I was bitten by the photography bug, early in 2004. I bought my first digital camera and fell in love with the art and science of creating images that not only document events but also evoke emotion.

I found myself hungry to try more creative things, but was limited by my old point-and-shoot.  A few months later I bought my first SLR, a Pentax *istDL, and began an adventure in the world of photography. I've learned a lot since, but one thing hasn't changed. I still strive to create images that create a connection with the viewer and evoke emotions.

I have added a Canon 5D to my arsenal as well as more lenses and strobes which allow me greater flexibility and creativity with image creation.

I am also joined by my wife Grace and daughter Kayla in my photographic journey. You see them from time to time as "models" in this blog. :)

Stick around... there's more to come.
